“Morrison” è un progetto nato quasi per caso, in spiaggia, grazie ad uno tra gli oggetti ludici più famosi e leggendari nel mondo, il frisbee. Oggetto dalle origini risalenti alla metà del 1800, quando una famosa pasticceria americana, la Frisbie Pie Co., forniva alle mense scolastiche crostate adagiate all’interno di teglie circolari in latta, che successivamente venivano utilizzate dagli studenti come passatempo, tirandosele l’un l’altro. Ma fu il genio di Fred Morrison, che all’interno di un garage con il suo socio Warren Franscioni, nel 1948, crearono il primo prototipo del disco che poi fu industrializzato dalla Wham-O, che dopo venti anni aveva già venduto più di 100 milioni di pezzi. Il progetto ha l'obbiettivo di creare un elemento senza tempo, dinamico e con una sorta di convivialità celata, proprio come il frisbee, che ha scavalcato i limiti del tempo e ha messo in forte relazione le persone.
